Description
Does she look like she has a fat nose? I wanted to to try something new, but I don't know if it's okay.Anyway, this is Rinku, she's meant to replace Simon Belmont from Castlevania. Since I couldn't find any real characters to replace Simon, I had to make one...or in this case, borrow one, considering Rinku is actually from the Webcomic, "A Tale of Two Rulers". I could've gone with Linkle from Hyrule Warriors, but then, I thought...."nah". Also, because Rinku is Ravio and Hilda's daughter, her is the same color as her mothers. And because Ravio is Link's brother in this story, that makes him her Uncle and her his Niece.
Just to prove she's Ravio's daughter, she's wearing his scarf.
Her outfit is a mix mosh of other outfits from various characters of Castlevania. Her black and gold vest has the design from Classic Belmont, and the majority of her dress is based off of Sonja Belmont (nevermind that Sonia wore a leotard). The design on the corset is from Link's Champion Tunic from BoTW. She wears crossing belts that have some of her inventory showing, with some potions, axes and a bottle that unleashes fairies. The amulet that she's wearing is actually meant to look OoT Mirror Shield, but it came out looking more like a Red Ruby, which is why it's colored grey in the center to make sure there's no confusion.
Her primary weapons are twin daggers that resemble the Kokiri Swords from both OoT & M'sM. But later, she gets the Goddess Sword, the weapon that her father used before her and THAT later becomes her primary weapon.
And now that I've gone over all that, it's time for backstory:
So, Rinku grew up with her parents, Ravio and Hilda. Sometimes, she treated her Father's weapons like toys, much to his and her mother's dismay. But, when the time came for Ravio to go confront his brother, Link, he left with a token of his memory, an amulet that had a piece of mirror inside, which he told her had the power to see the past and future. And although it never worked for him, he believed that it would someday work for her.
After learning that her father died and combat, Rinku and her mother were forced to leave home when Link's forces were soon to advance. Rinku managed to get away, but Hilda wasn't so lucky, and the poor child watched as her mother was torn to pieces. Forced to be on her own, Rinku made her way into the forest, where she was taken in the people who lived there.
She grew up to be something of a Barbarian, and when she came of age, she decided to exact her revenge for the murder of her family by confronting her Uncle and taking the path her father took. Upon reaching Link's castle, Rinku had met a lost soul, which showed her the power of the mirror piece that she carried and wanted to know about what is showing her. During her quest, she gained a few relics and weapons to help her along the way, yet, she couldn't help but feel like she was being watched by someone in the shadows.
Nonetheless, she continued on and eventually gained power from both the spirit of her mother and the spirit of a warrior known as Ralph, who was one of many to have perished within the Evil King's Castle. And soon enough, she claimed her father's sword, which had been put in a shrine within the castle library.
Of course, she didn't instantly claim it, as she still had to deal with a sorcerer that was sent by one of her Uncle's enemies. After a quick fight, now the sword was finally her. She later used it against Link, as her father did before her, but not without being introduced to Vaati, her resurrected father, but she didn't know that.
Fighting along side him, the two managed to defeat Link, who vanished into thin air, something that was not supposed to happen, according to Vaati. A lost soul wanted the necklace that Rinku wore, something that she wouldn't part with easily. But Vaati had told her that as long as she wore it, then she couldn't be able to control her own fate, that it didn't belong to her, just as it didn't belong to her father. Rinku reluctant agreed and gave the lost soul the amulet, who soon disappeared afterwards.
Then, wanting to know who he was, Rinku had partly recognized Vaati as her father just before the two walked away from the castle. While Vaati would secretly work from the shadows as a newborn demon, Rinku would continue on her family bloodline as she and her descendants would forever fight against the creatures of the underworld.
And that's...that.
