when you adopt them they become on of your characters

to buy these certain adoptables, you use the deviantart currency called 'points'
if you desired an adoptable and bought it for a certain amount of points, It would become your character. You would now own the character (the creator of the character would not own it anymore)
SO if you bought one of these, it would be yours, and would stop being mine.

You go onto my page, and on the top right side of my profile, there should be an option called 'give'
click on that, and more options would pop up.
click on 'give points'
then you type how many points you wish to give and there you go~!
