Karl somehow accidently summoned a Toad from Mario's universe, when he was playing video games.
Since then, Karl decided to take care of him.
His bro Pietari even named him "Ecce Homo", because he thought that since Mario is an italian plumber. , Karl then decided to give this Toad the name his brother suggested him, because it still sounds funny.
So this is Karl's new friend.
