hey guys!yeah its been too long since i uploaded something, sorry about that >_<
but ill have more time now im done with college, so expect alot more from me soon
anyway this was a picture which i was working on about a year ago, to celebrate the release or super smash bros brawl in europe.
i never finished it for some reason, so here it is, all done, and lets just say its in celebration of brawl being out a year over here
so its combined picture this one - i drew sonic and mario, coloured them in photoshop, then vectored the final destination stage.
then iadded the epic sunrise/set? to the back.
i'd like to say i drew it, or took the picture myself, but truth be told nothing drew or had taken myself fitted better than the actual screenshot form the game, hope you all arn't too mad at me
anyway i hope you all like it, i worked pretty hard on getting them both looking like they're in the heat of battel, and overall im really happy with it

I know its a minor detail, but its really bugging me that marios eyes aren't matching sonics. It just loses all the "umpf" you put into this picture. This is so cool though. Now im off to see the new Transformers movie finally XD

yeah i did notice that too, but im going to pretend to go with the theory that he was looking at him, and sonic moved so quickly that he was still looking in the same place

Heh, I've just got into the flashy colors of the first 3 Sonic games when I was younger. Our Nintendo didn't work, but we had Super Mario 3. XD I did play it sometimes. (When the Nintendo decided to work. :\ )

Well in the 90's there was only really two major gaming companies. Nintendo and SEGA. This started one of the first console wars as really and truly as far as consoles went at the time this where your main picks.
The war is mainly about which company is better between SEGA and Nintendo in terms of their consoles graphics, sound and of course games. When it came to their frontline series it was down to two. The Mario games and the Sonic games, which is why most 90's gamers argue who is better between these two characters. However by the end of the 90's SONY stepped in, SEGA lost sales and stopped making consoles in general dropping out of the Consoles war, thus leaving Nintendo as the victor of the first console war.
I think thats about right.
