etsy listing: www.etsy.com/listing/151655814…Sky Rocket description: pony base used was a gen 1 Cotton Candy, coated in white gesso primer then given a full body repaint job in acrylics. Symbol painted true to character, eyelashes painted in my own style. Paintwork sealed in Testors spray sealant.
Let’s talk about them jewel eyes- carved original eyes out, put sugru moldable glue behind eyesockets then put the jewels in place. Secured the sugru from the inside after it dried with e6000 glue and attached the jewels to the sugru with Krazy glue.
Mane and tail are rooted in nylon hair in DH lucky clover, Shimmerlocks sugar berry, paradise, pumpkin delight, cornsilk and angel white. All hairs permanently curled in hair gel method and styled in place with ribbon bows.
She has handsewn leggings in 3 layers of lace trim and a Pom pom neck piece. Finally, she’s embellished in polymer and resin kawaii pieces in theme of gumboil machine, pinwheel, shooting star, sweets, flowers, ducky, moon, rainbow and orange sprinkles.
