Birthday gift for a family member.

Pony base is a engineered pose from the body of the core 7 clone pose, and the head of a white g3 pegasus. Eyes were kept simple with gray, lavender, charcoal black and metallic black. In the reference I noticed Swiftwind has purple nostrils. So I explored that and toned it down a notch by glazing the pale lavender acrylics of the medium purple I used inside the nostrils. Hooves are painted orange and a burnt medium light brown.

Mask and saddle are crafted out of leather. Mask painted pink, saddle painted pale blue, both sealed with mod podge. The navy blue cloth under the saddle is a thick leather with pale yellow bias tape sewn around the edges. Straps from the saddle are a thin blue leather with blue metallic elastic looped at the end of it for the feet holders.

Mask is detailed in blue rope ribbon cord, and thin leather strips.

Re-hair job done with my home-made re-hair tool, in dollyhair's Tigerlily pony hair and golden auburn Barbie hair. Mane styled in my hair gel method.

Wings are anchored into the shoulders by thick wire and feathers fastened to fabric.
