Time Turner
Design of a Dr. Who-based character, a fem Time Turner. Used by fic-writer
This custom is a Christmas gift that I hand-crafted for him~
Pony base is a generation 4 Pinkie Pie. Wings are severed from a generation 3.5 Starsong, and pinned in place on this Pinkie Pie.
Entire pony coated in Gesso to provide a texture for the paint work to bond to. Full body paint job in tan acrylics, eyes painted to match Time Turner’s but loosely based off of Pinkie Pie’s, but some of my realistic layering added to shadows. Cutie mark is hand-painted also, metallic silver added on the legs for the under-armor; all paintwork sealed in Artists Varnish.
Mane and tail rooted in nylon mlp hair in the color chocolate pudding, added extra plugs around front of mane to make a fuller hair-do, tips of hair are lightly curled. Added a dark green bias tape headband.
Silver rings on legs is thick silver wire I shaped in place with pliers, hoof armor is silver patent vinyl, gold plastic rhinestones detail.
White collar is white bias tape, with a tiny red bow stitched in place. Blue vest is hand-stitched from wide blue ribbon and thin blue ribbon.
Tied white ribbon bow on tail to finish.
