i hate being misgendered. it hurts. since i was old enough to think right, ive hated she/her pronouns. hated girly nicknames. hated feminine clothes. never knew why. i always wanted to be on the "boys team" back in elementary. i always wanted to be strong, cool, and handsome.

I always wanted to be the knight, the king, and the husband when we played make believe.

i never knew why.
i thought i was just crazy.
"youre just a tomboy" they say.

i hit puberty, and everything got worse. i hate having a feminine body. i hate the way i walk, talk, and laugh. i hate everything i do. It feels so wrong, and it hurts.

it was just a year or two ago, that I realized: I'm a man.
