"Boomstick always stuck out to the other engines on her old railroad, mainly for her strange fascination with the macabre and grim, leading to most engines just avoiding her outright, soon however, hard times came upon her railroad and they were forced to sell her for money (and also because they didn’t want to deal with her constantly talking about death), she was sold to a movie studio and was set to be included in a scene where she would be on a collapsing bridge and at the end would fall into a ravine bellow, the day before filming however, Tommy arrived and attempted to purchase Boomstick for use on his logging company, after being denied Tommy just straight up stole her, despite this close call Boomstick’s fascination with grim subjects actually grew, and she’s often seen browsing various scrap yards and ironworks studying the various rusted engine shells. After being saved Boomstick became unwaveringly loyal to her new boss, which in turn led to Tommy making her the unofficial leader of his group of engines, she’s not as insane as Pistol or mad as Flintlock, but she gives the group a sense of direction, which possibly makes her more dangerous than either of them."
