Description
This page took a while... Not just because it's the longest page of this comic so far, but also because I'm beginning to lose my initial extreme motivation for this project.This always happens; I start something and work super hard at it for a short while and then suddenly, without warning, all my motivation just vanishes.
Heh, it's kinda like lightning. Just a quick burst of energy... And then it's gone. Poof.
Anyway, I wasn't proud of this page at the start, and I still don't 100% love it, but it's growing on me.
About the drawing:
- I'm hoping I haven't forgotten anything about any character's design.
- I hope I wrote CoffieTart well enough. This Coffie is a bit different from the original Coffie. He's braver, stronger, and a little more reckless than regular Coffie. (Idea curtesy of Coffie's creator (Freedaybreaker ) of course)
- Why did coffee snap Coffie out of his salt-trance? I dunno man... That stuff is magical or something. This story is weird and nonsensical.
- There's a lot of copying and pasting going on here... I was pretty lazy.
- I didn't add highlights to many of the panels because I was lazy.
- I didn't actually plan for Coffie to be able to turn into a ball (cuz I thought armadillos couldn't do that, but then I learned that 3-banded armadillos could do that...) and I'm not sure if that's one of his actual abilities (nor do I know what kind of armadillo Coffie is...) but uh, it is now for this comic at least.
- I should also mention that one of Coffie's personality quirks is that he loves RPGs so much that he sometimes blends fiction into reality; like randomly talking about stats which may or may not actually exist in this universe... Which is why he suddenly starts talking about Gray's "Dexterity" in panel 14.
-I finally drew a table in this cafe and God is it ugly... I don't know what I was thinking there. This place needs to get remodeled.
- Fun fact: Lightning is canonically a "super genetically enhanced wolf". So that's not just a random thing I made up for this comic. However, Lightning's abilities in this comic are different from the original Lightning's abilities.
