Description
This page took a while... But it was worth it. This might be my favorite page of this chapter so far.Ok... Also two new characters are being introduced here. We have Scarfire Catz and Moonshine Cats. Yeah, different last names (well slightly different) cuz they aren't married. They are dating however- hence the cuddling in the first few panels.
Scarfire used to be Lightning's roommate before Coffie came along. The only reason why he's not Lightning's roommate anymore is because things are kinda getting serious between him and his girlfriend Moonshine. It's become so serious that they've decided to move into a house together.
They live in Hazard City, though in a nicer neighborhood than Light and Coffie's.
That's right, Scarfire and Moonshine are... *Drumroll* middle class citizens.
Light and Coffie would be working class- actually, most of the main characters in this story are probably working or lower class. (What can I say? I draw what I know.)
Anyway, they got a nice house. Lots of details... Too many details...
In terms of personality... Scarfire is a pretty laid back guy most of the time. However, there are certain things which annoy the ever-loving crud out of him. Like... Random phone calls from strangers for example. He doesn't really care about anything... Or anyone... But he can be surprisingly incredibly family-oriented. If you are part of this cat's family (whether by blood or by bond) he will pretty much die for you. If you are anyone else though... He won't care. At all.
He considers Lightning to be a younger brother (yes, Scar is older by about 3 years) and he likes to tease and pester him a lot in a sarcastic and grumpy way. However, as mentioned previously, he would do anything to help Light if Light were in danger.
This is different from animated Scarfire as that Scarfire hated Lightning's guts... And everyone's guts really. Canon Scarfire doesn't really exist since I have made so many different versions of Scarfire with various different personalities (same goes for Moonshine) so... Just know, that this Scarfire is different from all the other Scarfires I've ever made before this one.
He's probably met Coffie like once and doesn't really care about him one way or the other. He's never met Berry or Cappu... And he's never stepped foot in Coffee Heaven since he hates coffee and is also lactose intolerant- meaning he can't enjoy chocolate things or milkshakes like Lightning does (not to mention he doesn't really like the taste of those things anyway). Point being- he's never met Sylvia or Miska, though he has heard Lightning talk briefly about them every now and then.
Also he plays the drums and has a very boring day job... Which he is not at right now because of... Plot convenience.
Oh also he calls almost everyone by a nickname. You'll notice that later.
Now for Moonshine's turn.
Moonshine was super goth in high school (and in her very early young adult years), but has somewhat grown out of that 'phase'. She still likes dull colors though and sad poetry/songs. She also likes very harsh rock music. She is much more outgoing than Scarfire is, and seeks out friends all the time. She is only ever 'mean' to Scarfire- but she's mean in a playful teasing way... Not a 'I hate your guts' way. No, on the contrary, she loves Scarfire and would not like it if someone were to hurt him. She's super friendly with Lightning who she kind of treats like a child at times despite the wolf only being maybe like 2 years younger than her. She doesn't hang out with Lightning or his/Scarfire's friends very often as she's always off doing her own things. She teaches a music class at an elementary school which I haven't decided a name for yet. She sings very well. Not too many things bother Moonshine, though she is fiercely loyal to Scarfire and if anything were to happen to him, she'd probably go ballistic or something. Also she is not at her job right now because of... Plot convenience. Oh also she pretty much already acts like she and Scarfire are married- though he hasn't proposed or anything like that... No, they're really just dating and have been for maybe like almost 2 years now.
Let's just pretend it's not Monday in this chapter...

Anyway, that's probably enough info about them for now.
Oh actually I should tell you that lots of people call them Scar and Moon respectively cuz their names are pretty long.
About the page:
-The Metallica poster is just a placeholder for now. I did not draw that (duh)- it came from google. I didn't have a 3rd poster drawn yet so I put the Metallica poster there instead. It will be replaced with one of my own posters eventually (but probably not in this chapter).
-I don't like drawing 'cute' or 'intimate' things between characters (Really, I think this was the first time I ever drew two characters sleeping like this)- but I wanted to push the fact that Scar and Moon are a close couple, so I forced myself to draw them all cute and what not. *barfs* Sorry in advance if you're hoping for more romantic stuff... I mean... I'm sure more romantic things (like hugging/kissing) will happen- but like once every million chapters.
-Their house took the longest to draw/color out of everything else here.
-Scar and Moon are probably my favorite characters out of all of my characters so I hope you guys like them too.
