TALKING...........Also, in this comic, "ferals" refer to animal people who are more "animal" than "people". Basically, they lack the ability to communicate with the more "human" animal people, and most are extremely dangerous. Err... We'll meet one eventually... Probably...
EDIT: Now that chapter 7 is getting made, I can tell you that Big Bush is an example of one of these kinds of "ferals".
"ferals" can also refer to regular non-humanoid animals which also live in this world. Why? Because I like to make things as confusing as possible.
...Basically, any animal in this world that isn't "pretty-much-a-human" either in appearance or in their ability to communicate/fit into society is considered a "feral".
"Mutants" usually refer to people/creatures who were born with powers- or whose powers are etched into their DNA structure.
EDIT: So, for example, Lightning, Sky, and Boulder would be considered "mutants", but Coffie would not be considered a mutant since Coffie's powers come from his hat.
