Story:

Okay, they were back down to their last stock and ZSS was at kill percent against Ganondorf and Steve. (0%.  Because 0% is kill percent against Ganondorf.)  They totally had this game in the bag.  Ganondorf closed in for a quick dash attack into up smash, but as soon as he got close, Samus just flip kicked out of the way.

Was that all this Samus could do?  Well this time he had her.  He channeled energy into his fist ready to punch her back to space.  Of course the trained bounty hunter saw this stupidly slow attack coming, so what did she do?  She flip kicked to the other side of Ganondorf, who had actually reversed his attack, knowing exactly what ZSS would do.

Samus hardly had time to realize her mistake before Ganondorf’s super charged fist slammed into her, pushing her into a wall Steve had built.  But that was no problem for a top tier character, she could just tech.  But as she hit the R button, she saw red sparks fly out.  Uh oh.

The move was so strong, instead of teching, she was just flattened instantly against the wall.  As she slid down, thin as a piece of paper, she heard the familiar voice of the announcer calling “Ganondorf… wins.”  Followed by the familiar laughter.  If only she had teched.

Notes:

Yeah, I know the story is super, super dumb, but I love it.  I am really happy with this animation.  Samus’s flip kick animation looks really good as she flies above Ganondorf, Ganondorf’s charge up and strike key frames are really great.  These don’t match up with the game very well, but that’s okay, its still totally possible to tell exactly what’s going on.

This animation actually took me quite a while to make.  I had to make two pretty intricate attack animations, which take a while, and I had to experiment with both how to get this to work with cloth physics, and how to retexture the blocks in the background.  But I’m really happy with how it turned out.

Anyways let me know if you have any requests for me to do.  You can either leave me a comment, or message me on DA or Twitter (@lightnxclash).  Hope you all enjoy the animation, and if you did, consider supporting me on Patreon ( www.patreon.com/lightswitchcla… ) to get this and all my other recent animations in 4k/60FPS, as well as getting high priority on your requests.
