Description

In the Ninja Turtles in the Owl House version of King's Tide titled Your Worst Nightmare, Splinter senses Belos and Shredder fighting the Hexsquad in the Titan's skull and races to help the kids out out. However, Splinter gets knocked out by Belos and pinned under some rubble while the Collector is freed from their prison by King. As the Collector begins their game, Splinter urges Luz, April and company to run for the door to the human realm while they still can before passing out. By the time Splinter awakens and escapes the Titan's skull, Shredder has dubbed himself the new emperor of the Boiling Isles and accuses the Covens Against the Throne of assassinating Belos so they could use the Collector to conquer the Demon Realm.

With the Collector running amok and the Covens Against The Throne now on the run from Shredder's new regime, the rebels take refuge in the ransacked Owl House for the time being. In the meantime, Eda and Splinter deal with the guilt brought upon them by the chaos of the Day of Unity. Splinter is wracked with grief over being powerless to save their children, while Eda blames herself for how so many people she loved, like Luz, King, Raine, and Lilith, are missing or almost dead because of her decision to be branded so she could disguise as Raine. Now at the end of the world, the only thing Eda and Splinter can do is comfort each other in their darkest hour. At least, until help arrives.
