Hi guys! Got another Fantasy Race for you!

Also, the way I plan to do them from now on is having both the picture and the race description for you!

And one more thing: Escapade is getting a full-blown redoing, and all of the fantasy races I make will likely end up populating it!

Description:

The Manapods are a cephalapod-like race of creatures, identifiable by their oddly human-like "faces". In reality, their true mouths are concealed behind their three tentacles. They only use these "faces" when they're in the company of other races, and wish to look more presentable or friendly.

The name "Manapod" comes from their connection to the "Mana Realm" which is a dimension on top of the realm of Escapade, and the source of all mana and therefore all magic. The Manapods are so deeply connected with the Mana Realm that they use their ample supply of mana as a means of locomotion.

However, that is far from the only use they have found for their mana. They have found many ways to utilize it, from the healing and partial manipulation of their biology to powerful elemental spells used for self defense. They can even create complex mana sculptures using either pure mana or elements infused with mana.

Incidentally, these mana sculptures are one of the great prides of their race. While they indeed have made major mystical and scientific breakthroughs, their main pastimes and interests are often in the fields of philosophy and, primarily, art. In fact, many of the largest artistic structures of Escapade were made by the Manapods.
