And here it is!!! This idea came up in my mind while I was drawing Hikari (my own character) and watching Justice League Dark. The original team was Scorpion, the Netherrealm spectre, Takeda, Scorpion's pupil, Sareena, the renegade Netherrealm demon, Hikari, a necromancer's daughter,Β and the team would be led by Scorpion and Takeda would be second in command. In a small story concept I made (available on Patreon) Smoke is an ex revenant, he was saved by Ashrah, the purified Netherrealm demon, and Sareena, (but the spell didn't go fully well) and he joins the team to rescue an old friend. I wanted to add Nitara but I added Ashrah instead...
This illustration is inspired in the scene shown on "Justice League Dark" movie, where Constantine says "Coming?... team?" and the screen shows the other members (Zatanna, Deadman and Batman), so basically in this scene, they're in kind of Shinnok's chapel, Scorpion is off screen and everyone's looking at him.
