Something I've been working for couple hours. Basically, in this timeline Rome loses the Punic Wars wich leads to Carthage being a dominant power in ancient Mediterrenean.However, Carthaginians are not such a militarized society as Rome was in OTL, so their dominance is achieved rather by politics and trade than by regular conquest.
This leads to a far more diversed mediterrenean area with many ancient countries remaining independent.
Word "Aeropa" is an etymological fiction, as we don't know how Carthaginians would call our continent.
