The song is really about a broken romance, but it fits in some ways when you pull lyrics out as a stand alone.
Oinktoe is doing her best to keep Whispercloud healthy and strong, but things just haven’t been going well. After the recent death of Bee’la, Whisper has been pretty down and hasn’t been feeling well enough to eat. Plus with the upcoming birth of kits, it’s zapping a lot of her energy.
Oink is afraid things will only get worse.
