Today was the day, the long awaited day for Chiori's first show. Reagan had spent time bonding with her and preparing her for showing, hoping it would pay off as she was more than proud of her newest addition to the kennel. Reagan decided to have Chiori shown by one of the newest handlers that she'd hired on. Amelia and Chiori travelled all the way to Monroe WA to the Evergreen State Fairgrounds for this show. The two spent some time in their hotel room and outside of course, bonding a little and doing some preparation work until the day of the show arrived. Amelia woke up that day and got dressed, preparing for the show while Chiori lazed around on the bed. “Not eager to get up huh?” She thought as she finished getting ready then proceeded to pat Chiori’s side to get her up. Chiori made a little grunt of annoyance but got up and stretched before jumping off the bed. Amelia chuckled a bit before leashing her up with the show lead and collar. They made their way out of the hotel room and down to the lobby while Amelia texted Reagan an update on how things were doing, and how well Chiori was being. After that she put her phone away and ate breakfast in the hotel’s lobby which was nothing special but filling nonetheless. She was quite excited to say the least, getting to show a new dog to kennels was always exciting for her. Once breakfast was finished, she and Chiori left the hotel and got into Amelia’s car. She placed the big girl up front with her and let her hang her head out the window while she drove to the show location. It didn’t take too long to get to the show’s location and of course after getting there, she went through the necessary requirements and preparations. She waited patiently with Chiori who seemed calm and maybe even a little tired as she yawned but overall was doing great. Once the show finally got underway, Chiori showed off what she had in both structure and temperament. Amelia was aware of her not being too fond of strangers but was overall neutral and was doing fantastic during examinations as if unbothered completely. She stacked herself effortlessly but Amelia still made sure it looked completely right even though she knew she had a tendency to naturally stack without trying to or meaning to. She couldn’t help admiring how good Chiori looked already and she wasn’t even a full grown adult, she was only 2 years old but was already filled out so nicely. Her gait was just as nice when they got to that part. They spent their time going through the entire show together with relative ease and no mishaps. The pair doing their utmost best for this show.
