A couple of weeks ago, I felt this strange urge of getting back to drawing as I used to when I was in school. Back then, I'd draw mostly characters and even had my own comic strip, but I never dared trying to draw real people. However, this time I felt like drawing a real person, so, in order to see how far I could go, I chose to only and always draw the Japanese actor Satoh Takeru. This Takeru-Romeo (the original photo is from the 2012 Romeo and Juliet stage play promo here in Japan) is not my first drawing nor my favorite (anymore), but it surely represents a turning point in terms of drawing for me, which is why I decided to have it as my first post here.
