Pairings like this worry me. They just...don't make sense at all. There are other pairings like this from other shows and the author can try to make them work, but they just don't.

I totally agree with you! Those pairings just won't work! Maybe that's why some authors/artists are splitting the Yamis and the Hikaris into individual persons for the Millenium Item Spirit x Millenium Item Owner pairings...
