Il est plus que juste un dessin animé pour les filles, qui est un stéréotype ridicule. Il a été développé par Lauren Faust (femme et créateur avec Craig McCracken sur Powerpuff Girls, Home Foster Pour arbres imaginaires, et Wander Over Yonder). Cette exposition présente quelques étoiles visibles comme Tara Strong (qui ont fait de Twilight Sparkle Bonjour Kitty, Bulles de PPG, et plus). Le spectacle arrive à avoir des personnages masculins ainsi que d'autres que des poneys.
