Brilliant capture as always Lillian! I understand if you don't want to give away any trade secrets but ... are you using any filters for these colours or is it all post-processing? or is it just simply all nature at its best

Thanks a lot.
Haha this is not secret,I'm still learning using many web tutorials and the advices of other photographers. I don't use filters. The best part of the day for any type of photography is early morning and late afternoon, about an hour before sunset when the sun is low in the sky and soft, diffused light is produced,it doesn’t create harsh shadows. Especially when is fog. With fog, the light source is much more diffused than normal. This is due to the water droplets which have formed the fog. This softens the light and at the same time makes streaks of light noticeable from the intensity of many light sources. Putting the white balance on the camera in the shadows or cloudy (I generally use shadows) you'll get much warmer colors in the image. The rest is adjusting color tones and adding or subtracting light and noise reduction in Photoshop.
I hope it helps

So it's a nice combination of timing, technique (A great one at that!) and science! I've been reading a lot lately about the importance of lighting and getting it just right - looks like you've already mastered it

I still have to learn a lot, but thank you.
If you want something so much, you can do it. I did not have someone who can show me, but you can learn a lot by reading and talking with other photographers. And of course, you need time, patience and lots of practice. Sometimes I get back from shooting without a usable image, sometimes I have a few good photos, depends on many factors, just don't give up. Try to look as a good fun, a good walk in nature, fresh air....and just enjoy

Thank you very much!
Yes, it was early morning, about 6am. I hate to get up so early lol, but it is the best time to photograph, when the sun rises, the so-called golden hour. The light is then softest, but of course,it depend on where you live and will vary with the seasons.
