Splatoon

Owen is strong, calculative, but caring (Although he rarely shows it). Owen did not have the best home life, though the reasons are still unknown. However, Owen does admit to Alira that he didn't receive much affection towards his family members. Like many Octolings, Owen enrolled in the Octarian Army. However, his battle skills were clearly shown to be superior than his tech skills. As a result, he became one of the very few male Octolings who became elites, which is unheard of. However, coming into contact with Calimari Inkantation makes him have doubts of his purpose.

Splatoon 2

After two years, Owen finally steps into the light. After coming in contact with Calimari Inkantation for the second time, Owen and his trio snapped into reality and realized there's much more to see in the light than in the dark. Unfortunately, Arnalo had to split with them in order to find an escape, and Owen hasn't seen him since. Instead, Owen and Prina worked together in the DeepSea Metro to reach the surface and regain Prina's memories. Ironically, the duo became agents of the New Squidbeak Splatoon after reaching the surface and stopping Tartar. Owen occassionally visits the metro with Cuttlefish, but for a different reason. Still hoping to find Arnalo in the metro, Owen's wanders around, hoping to find his right-hand trooper. He gets his answer in The Final, where Arnalo was mind-controlled (Once again). After rescuing him and saving Inkopolis, Owen and the others reside in the city, happy to finally be free
