They look about 16-17 here, and usually when I draw them they are 14. I wasn't intending to draw them older at first, but after I first drew it I realized how old they looked.

It took me a while to ink this, but only because I was playing around with Maybelle's outfit so much. xD It was fun to ink in details. And also I was careful inking it. Doing Jay's hair is surprisingly fun. It used to be just stressful but it's fun to do now.

The only watercolor pigments I used were red, yellow, blue, and black. Obviously I was mixing them. I've mixed watercolors before, but this is the first painting I've done using only primary colors and black. I only did that because when I started it I was at painting class, and my teacher only had black, red, blue, and yellow in the watercolor tubes. So I just didn't use any other colors at all when I had the choice at home. I like mixing colors. : D

I'm afraid that once again the background is too busy... I meant to just put a few blotches of color but I went a little overboard. @_< Just ignore that please..!

Jay is wearing chains on his pants but you can't really notice them anyway. xD; I like both of their outfits. <3

Jay doesn't looks so pleased about Maybelle latching onto him. He should learn to enjoy life.
