Toys can obviously taste -- Bullseye enjoys cheese-puff dust, and Mrs. Potatohead packed her husband some snacks "in case you get hungry". Maybe they eat like Data -- they don't have to, but they just like it sometimes.Not so secretly, I love people when they're eating. Sometimes I see strangers eating and I just want to hug and kiss them. It makes me happier than practically anything. (My husband, on the other hand, mostly can't stand to see people eat, and does his best to pretend it's not happening. Which might explain why he's such a prickly old badger sometimes.) I think I get it from my mother, who expresses her love through hugging and food. She almost never goes anywhere without a baked good to share. She likes to look at us when the family's all together and clap her hands and say, "I just love when all my babies are eating!"
Ha ha, there's a little slice of my life for ya.
These were just a couple little doodles I quite liked. I wanted to see how it'd look if I colored them without inking, but I think it's more trouble than it's worth. Cute enough for a first try.

I was always a little worried that someone might be watching me while I eat... now I know who.
But anyway, this is cute. The non-inked style gives this a fresh, airy atmosphere. ^^ I loved the Data reference, and your slice of life. Out of curiosity, is your mom Italian? Or maybe German?

I used to not like strawberries (Fickle children's tastebuds), but now I think they're pretty tasty.. especially when they're really deep red and ripe *salivating*~!
