Description
A scene from Moving So Gracious , another gem and a half by mekosuchinae . I actually stopped reading to start sketching, I was so delighted by it.Roxy and Megamind are, I assume because of her longer hair, still in the infancy of their villain/kidnappee relationship. Meeting at a social function, Roxy's nosy reporter senses are all alight, certain that Megamind is planning some heinous evildoing. Megamind isn't one to disappoint his favorite hostage, especially when she shows up wearing that deadly little red dress.
I have a brutal cold, so I got lazy and didn't ink. You get fancy bokeh* stock background (by regularjane ), but nothing more!

Such great expressions on both of them, and the intensity between them here, like the kidnapping scene back at the evil lair, yum. Love this just as much as all your MM fanart, you never fail to make my inner fangirl squeal with happiness for every single one of them.

Delicious, as usual. I love this fic, because I absolutely love the pre-good Megamind and his total obsession with Roxanne. I especially love how you made him focus on her fingertip, as if he really, really wants to get poked in the nose.

It's actually kind of nice to see a picture that's, well for lack of a better term, "less refined" from you. Not to say that your inked stuff isn't great, it's just nice to mix it up a bit. The sketchiness of it makes it feel vintage, along with the neat background texture. I also like that Megamind could POSSIBLY be taking a gander at some cleavage lol

I love this, even without the inking-- great color scheme, poses and expressions. Nice and delicate sketchy details.
The only thing I object to is the height difference, especially since Roxy (who's already about the same height as Megs) must be wearing heels with that party dress, right? Is Megs standing on something? I don't remember the details of the story...
Would've been awesome if Roxy's lips were the same color as her dress, but we can't have everything.

That's okay, hardly anyone gets their height difference right. I'm sure it's because everyone is just so used to the guy always being the taller one in most media, especially if he's the leading man. *shrugs*
It's just a very slight slip-up, nothing for me to yack on and on about. 
Some people draw Roxy with a tiny head (which is especially funny since her head is actually HUGE) and with her height/body about half the size of Megamind's-- THAT I don't get.

Hehe, yeah, exactly what I was thinking. There's even a picture in the Megamind art book where you see their heads from behind, side by side, and they look to be almost the same size from that angle.
He probably wears lifts.

Your art always has the light etching to it. It reminds me of older european comics that used so many light and small lines and had these incredibly realistic expressions.

Thank you so much. I'm not totally familiar with the type of comic you mean, but I think I know what you're talking about. I feel sort of selfconscious of my sketching -- I use a real light pencil and tend to go too lightly on the shading. But I'm glad you like it!
