Description
Buzz (perhaps in Spanish mode) serenades Jessie in the streets of their little pueblo-adjacent western town. And how can she resist him, in his mariachi finery? Everyone else seems to be asleep, though, which is my own oversight. You'd think at least Josey's cantina would be hoppin'. Perhaps he planned it this way. Will she join him in the street for a moonlit dance? Or will he climb up the roses and into her room?I am having a BALL with these old west backgrounds! I mean it, I've found my new favorite thing. It gives me a chance to practice lighting without having to be any good at it at all!
I KNOW MARIACHI IS MEXICAN, NOT SPANISH. PLEASE STOP TELLING ME THIS.

This is absolutely adorable! And I should follow your lead and create some western-style backgrounds to play with lighting, especially as yours have turned out so well via experimentation. *grins* Lovely, lovely detail, and as wonderful as Buzz's outfit is (complete with cummerbund. XD ), I LOVE your interpretation of Jessie's outfit into something a little more feminine. This is delightful. <3

a little fun culture fact: Mariachis are not Spanish, they are traditional Mexican musicians; also the suit you made for buzz is kind of a combination between Mariachi's [link] and Matadores' (or toreros) [link] suits -who ,btw , ARE Spanish- (although there are Latin American toreros too).
I know you weren't aiming for a culturally accurate image, but I just felt I had to tell you this.
Btw I liked this piece, very much.

This has been pointed out to me many times, and I did know that. I actually had no idea that Spanish!Buzz was speaking Spanish and not specifically Mexican. I had assumed, being an American toy, that that would be the case. I'm ignorant. :C

well, it's not THAT big, the only main difference is the pronunciation of the letter "s" (Spaniards say it more like "sh" and latin americans say it more like the "standard" s -obviously with some variations between countries-).
It's kinda like "American" English and "British" English

I must say the Spanish-mode Buzz was about the cutest thing I've ever seen in a Pixar movie...as well as the most hilarious~ It really helped to dry my eyes at the end of the movie ehehe~ But what an even more adorable concept! I'm really loving all these Western-themed drawings you've been doing too~ They're so wonderful! *says the watcher that never comments...lol* But I do love the lighting and their expressions so much!

Even when the spanish mode was with Spain's accent, I love the idea of the mexican clothes and all the concept so much!
