I'm an agnostic. <:3 I do believe in something greater than us, but I don't understand it. I think my philosophy can be summed up by a line from Angels and Demons:
"My head says I will never understand God, my heart says I'm not supposed to. Faith is a gift I've yet to receive."
I don't pray because part of me feels it would be rude to God or horribly hypocritical to God at least to pray when my heart really isn't in it. I feel it would be an insult and I believe I should only pray when I believe in what I'm praying to, y'know?
I love all religion, and think it's wonderful that people have faith, but sadly I find that I haven't been able to put my heart in it and join along with them. I feel like the intrigued observer, not a participant. XD

Don't worry! God love's all his children and know's of our individual struggles. Even though you don't feel assured in your heart, you must remember faith is not neccesarily a perfect knowledge. It comes in all degrees. The fact that you do "believe in something greater than us," shows that your sprit 'knows,' even if you do not. "I would show unto the world, that faith is things which are hoped for and not see; Wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye recieve no witness until after the trial of your faith." We have faith that we need air to breath, yet we cannot see the air (unless it is poluted ofcourse) and have seen evidence of death when oxigen is not available. Just concider the intricacies there are in the creation of life. What went into the creation of this world and beyond. To even consider the notion that all of this simply happen, makes all 'reason stare.' In the scriptures, it talks about the faith the size of a mustard seed (which by the way is one of the smallest of seeds) can move mountains. Plant it let it grow. Read scrptures, read spirtual uplifting stories, do good works, and yes, pray. It certainly can't hurt. And know 'he' won't be insulted. He will always be happy for effort. And wants to hear from you (his daughter) no matter what.

Thank you for the very uplifting message. I will continue my studies into religious theories and philosophies, that won't ever end, and I never had much want for it to end. But I think I'll continue on as a spectator. Until my head and my heart can agree. When my head and my heart can agree is when I'll begin prayer. Until then, I'll just spectate, but never be ungrateful when I'm in the prayers of others.

but heres the problem... Its hard for your head and heart to ever agree... Your head will always want to think logically and go along with the world... In somthing like this you need to listen to your heart....

the first time it happen i just remmember the heat riseing then blanke.... then when I came to the boys that were picking on me at the time were freaked out.
the second and last time it happend I only blacked out like half way... i was aware of everything that my body was doing but i couldnt control it... I had lunged at this girl (NOT GOING TO EXPLAIN THAT INCIDENT!!) and my freind ambroshia grabed me around my waist and lifted me off my feet.. she is twice my size and is 3 x's stronger then me... AND SHE WAS STRUGLING TO KEEP A HOLD ON ME...ME a 5'3" white girl with no upper body strangth and i wanted to get my hands on that girls hair...
