no no no. It is okay. I'm just... amazed that people do that to me. I always try to be polite and just have a good time with anyone who thinks its worth their time to talk with me. People have such busy lives, I don't want to bother them. I actually see myself as a bit of a bother really.

Thank you. I don't take compliments well. I hide under rocks to hide my blushing. People call me humble... maybe I am. I have a fear of being self consumed. XD So I guess I tend to be altruistic, even when I know that the potential to be taken advantage of is high. I'll still do it, but say something like: "I know, I'm god damned mother theresa. >:I" cause I know I'm gonna get screwed in the end of THAT deal. I'm altruistic, but not stupid, I say that so people know that I am intelligently aware of the screwing I am receiving and making the choice as an adult to be screwed in the deal. I think you're exceptionally witty too. Though, I think less spaztic than me, which is good. I need to be grounded sometimes. XD

You know, I'm the same way. Growing up, I was told that you cannot have a big head, you cannot be better than everyone else. So... in some strange way I see compliments as a weird way of that happening. I know that isn't the case, some is just being gracious and appreciative.
Yeah, learning that folks in the world will take advantage of you isn't cool, and we have to protect ourselves.
