while both are great shots (an amazing eye for even noticing the opportunity) i like the way the viewers focus is drawn to, and through. the droplet in this one. personally i find my attention being distracted to the "activity" to the right in the full 700x530. if it had been possible to center the droplet without losing too much of the blossom in the background it would have been perfect in my perception. (yes, ADD, OCD, and any other TLA's you want to apply

Beautiful shot! It's really hard to choose which one is better... the squared one.... or the landscape!
I think the square one does look the best but it's still a bit off. If you take the landscape and crop it from the left (so the waterdrop will be on the left side after you cropped it) it will look IMHO the best.
But that's just my opinion
