zuko gets what he wants!! hahah>> [link]the gaang watches the last airbender in 3D... and they do not approve.
i'll finish this eventually... and accompany it with my rant. it's not like i'm saying 'IT'S NOT EXACTLY LIKE THE CARTOON OMG DSLHFSD.' but i was kinda hoping it would be... y'know, not horrible. BOO.
i just wanted to post it to say that i do no approve! i do not. ehnoooo.
haha at least i got to draw arrow tattoos all over myself for the premiere! wooootae

Poor Zuko! I loved Toph just sitting there, she's probably enjoying the movie more then she should. But poor Zuko, it's like Ember Island all over again, but worst. Amazing looking

Ha, I Know. I watched it in a flight. It was the middle of the night, everyone was sleeping but me and I yelled every five minutes "THEY SKIPPED THAT PART" or "THAT'S SO NOT WHAT HAPPENED!!" I knew it because my whole LIFE was devoted to Avatar when I was 10-11 and I hadn't watched it in a LONG time but still, it was so wrong I remember and yelled about it.
It was my revenge for pastrami breath people snoring all around me

They sound like they really would sound in the show. Sokka's line is my favorite! it made me giggle and I miss this show. So hard.
That movie... was disgraceful. I was worried as soon as I heard a.) M. Night was involved and b.) they white-washed the cast. But I went anyway, and it's probably the worst movie I have ever seen. EVER. including campy crap on tv. Such high expectations & such an abysmal reality.

I feel like some of it might have had to do with them having invested so much in it and hoping to see any return on it just because they knew fans of the series would go see it even if it sucked horrendously.
I remember leaving the theater feeling so disappointed. It made me miss the old series MORE than if it had just ended.

A proper film about Aang could have gone toe-to-toe with Narnia and even Harry Potter. Instead we get indecisive Aang, weak Katara, stupid Sokka, and an overall catastrophe. At least we have the Legend of Korra to look forward to!

Kinda hilarious in hindsight with the Ember Island Players episode, no? Still, I have yet to watch this movie because of what Shayamalan did with it. My thoughts of when the movie was merely announced? "Christ, it's like Dragonball Evolution all over again!"
