i really love the contrast of the bright coloring in the first part of the image with the darker colors of the second part. ugh just beautiful.

While it's a shame to lose that excitement and imagination, I find it bittersweet that he can look back and feel the loss โ because that means he treasures those memories and feelings still. And a part of that will always live on.
Anyway, beautiful work on the two versions of things, though sad to see that Nigel's house and the tree fort have gone untended since Nigel moved away (at least in this context.)
