Once again, my impatience to finally submit a pic I'm excited about results in the inevitable, violent downfall of my inbox...>.>;;Omg, Lin did a BACKGROUND!!
(........well, kinda. XD)(Gah, my scanner warped the colors a little. ><;;; And yes, I know that Greed's arm is proportionally off, compared to his legs. T3T I'm really pleased with his boot though. ^_^)
Anyhow, this pic was originally supposed to be a tiny portion of a larger colored-pencil poster image. I wasn't very happy with how the larger poster was going, so I kinda scrapped the idea, mid-project. I REALLY loved the idea behind this mini-image on it, though, so I decided to "pull" it and give it it's own poster, in marker this time. ^_^
I also decided to leave Doro's expression a little ambiguous-- I'm leaving it up to you guys to determine what Doro's feeling here. ^^ Apprehension? Fear? Curiosity? Maybe he's hopeful? Who knows?
Greed & Dorochet: Hiromu Arakawa, Squenix, Funimation, etc.
Art: Linake
Media: mechanical pencil, Prismacolor marker, a little bit of acrylic paint for when I accidentally marker-swiped Greed's arm.
Time: about a month (YAAAY! I'm getting faster!

*squints* I can just BARELY see it... LOL hooray for acrylic paint, yes? I'm sorry about the having to re-color it though. I have no acrylic paint to speak of, so wite-out has to do it. And it usually doesn't. Example: in my "Merry Christmas, For Riyuu" pic, you can see every part I messed up on.

XD Well, it might just be the acrylic distorting it... (I put more than two freakin' coats of paint on there, I'd like to think it would've completely hidden it.

Oh yeah, especially in that scene on the island cliff. ><;; Damn animators. (but seriously, his arms are slightly more short and stocky than most other characters, so they tend to screw me up pretty often. o_@;; I usually just go into "Hell with it" mode and draw them however I want.
Aww, thanks!! I hated how they showed them in that episode, standing up and looking all determined when Greed showed up. I think Marta had said they'd been in there for about 7 years, so what's the liklihood that they'd be so proud like that? After 7 years, it'd be more likely that they'd probably feel pretty somber and hopeless, right?............plus it gave me an excuse to draw him with an "Hm?" look on his face.
