My pic for Uki's birthday (today, Dec 21)!
Before people start asking me who the kids are, they're the personification of Sogyo no Kotowari, Uki's twin swords.
They've showed up only in the anime --not in the manga-- and I think their first appearance was in ep 230...
AREN'T THEY JUST ADORABLE?!
asked a while back if I was ever planning on drawing the twins with Uki, and I couldn't resist. ^__^; This actually isn't the first idea I came up with them --which I DO still plan to draw-- but this idea popped in my head and I couldn't make the idea shut up until I scribbled it down.
I also wanted a more casual look to the pic, so I left their hats off. ^^ Plus, gave Uki his "lounging clothes" from ep.....uh....40, I think? Whenever it was that he first found out about Aizen's "death".
The joke behind this one lies in the book.
His sword's name, "Sogyo no Kotowari", means "Law of the Twin Fish" (or "Truth of Pisces", depending on which translation you come across. Either way, we're talkin' about two little fish.)
So, what better book to read to a pair of twins that represent lil' fishies? ^_^
(Besides, you just KNOW that had to be Uki's favorite book when he was a little kid... ♥ )

(and yes, I had to Google the book's cover art. XD Unfortunately, I couldn't find a full cover view --meaning, a view of the back cover-- so I just had to B.S. that part. ^_^; *lol*)

Yep! In this particular arc, everyone's swords have human-like forms (had to specify "human-like" because Zabimaru even changes to look human-ish, instead of the nue baboon/snake chimera. O_o And Muramasa --guy at the top-- is the one who convinces them to rebel against their shinigami)

XD Arent't the designs awesome? ^^ Wabisuke actually hauls around weights, which kinda fits to his name. Zabimaru is... YIKES. *lol*
Suzumebachi is actually GOD-AWFUL adorable, as is Ashisogijizo, pretty surprisingly. X3
Kazeshini is awesomeness. Before he was identified as Kaze, I thought he was Ikkaku's Houzukimaru, just based on his personality.
Lord, you should've seen me when I first got a good look at them. "Oh my God, their hats have little fish-fins! 8D!!!! And...homg, their little ponytails, they're FISH TAILS!!!!!! 
...It got so horribly squeaky and high-pitched, it was so out-of-character for me. ._.

Yeah, my friend Ramia has a bit of an ongoing joke about Uki and I having kids. Twins, of course.

It's so funny that I come across so many girls on DA who don't want kids XD Maybe it's because I'm from the south or something but man .. I just LOOOVE kids XD But I can see why you'd rather have them with Uki, if Rukia would let him go long enough I'd LOOOOVE to have Ichigo's kids... then again... Rukia is going to do that already so I guess I'm pretty stuck -_- People like you, who are in love with Uki or Grimmjow or someone, are rather lucky because they don't really have any pairings so if you ever meet them you could actually date them, I however am attatched to someone who is already attatched -_-

You've got a point there, but... lots of people love ByakuRenji. T.T But I see what you mean, IchiRuki is almost canon (almost meaning not necessarily officially, but there's definitely some emotion at least from Rukia... and Ichigo went through all this trouble to save her...)

The only reason I "chase" Byakuya is because Hisana is... well, dead. If she was still alive, I'd still love Byakuya but I wouldn't do anything more than look. ^^ I respect them both too much to do anything else.

(Of course, I guess it kinda makes sense-- Zanpakutou are supposed to be "born" at the same time as their shinigami, and are extensions of their personalities... I guess it makes sense that they look like tiny versions of him. ^_^)

I've just been watching bits-and-pieces of it (trying to avoid seeing any major spoilers, heh), but I just HAD to watch the parts with these guys.
