Sakurai ended DLC at the end of 2015 unfortunately so there won't be anymore. That one character was Bayonetta, I mean that's cool for the people who wanted that character and the characters before they announced her were Cloud for Final Fantasy 7 and Corrin from Fire Emblem Fates and they had nothing to do with the ballot whatsoever, those two slots were wasted on those characters in my opinion, I'm not calling Cloud and Corrin bad because they are cool looking character, but nobody asked for them and nobody needed them really.

Aw! In my deeply humble opinion, those characters are badass. Too bad they're not making more, but I guess you can't have a fighting game with like... 80 characters what characters did you want in the game?

Well Lina, the fourth Smash Bros. had a lot of Fire Emblem characters like 6 of them and I was like "Really Sakurai, who in their right mind wants all these Fire Emblem characters? You want to gives us ANOTHER one!?" I mean he is a Fire Emblem fan, but still. A lot of people wanted other characters like more third party ones and tones of people including myself wanted Shantae more than anything and a lot wanted Shovel Knight or even King K. Rool from the Donkey Kong Country trilogy. There were voters for Geno from Super Mario RPG but for him AND K. Rool all we got were Mii costumes, same with Knuckles and Tails they too are just Mii costumes and I don't care about Mii costumes. Oh well, can't have everything. If I can I might hack my Wii U and get the fan game Super Smash Bros. Crusade on there because that has a good looking roster. Yeah, I still think there should have been a Top 3 most voted characters, Bayonetta being the No. 1 vote followed by two more top votes, that's just me

Oh yeah! I remember the Knux and Tails costumes, haha! I could've sworn Shovel Knight was in the game, what a lost chance! And Shantae! They could've added Bayonetta with other two, easily.

Yep, agree completely. Shantae has been with Nintendo for over 13 years since her debut on the Game Boy "Colour" of all handhelds and her games are really fun, I haven't played Shovel Knight although I have heard that it's really good. Seriously, to me the whole ballot was a scam or at least it felt like it.

That's too bad! I hope at least the gameplay with the characters is fun! Taking a small turn-back: did you hear 'bout the infamous Forces DLC??

To me the soundtrack in Sonic Forces is a mixed bag, there are some track that I did like and some that I thought were terrible. Forces could have had a lot more to be improved but I accepted it for what it. So you think Sonic Forces is a mixed bag? If so I respect that, on a scale of 1 to 10 what would you rate it?

I thought the same too! But of everything about the game, the OST is up there, with the good stuff.
I'd rate Sonic Forces 4 chili dogs outta 10. There are sooooo many thing that could've gone way better. A 4 in college is enough to pass, but when you've been doing so great recently, it shouldn't repeat itself... Alright, SEGA?

For me I'll rate a 7 chilli dogs out of 10 Meaning I thought it was just great, not awesome just great in a way I find it better than Sonic Lost World. Reasons why, because I thought the level design was rather adequate and I loved that they included Death Egg from Sonic 3 & Knuckles, would have been nice if the levels were a little longer but not TOO long. Second: the avatar was awesome although I think there should have been more features in the Fitting Room and perhaps hair on the back of the female avatar's head not just the front, maybe include more animals like a dragon or a bat or maybe a fox. I hope they bring the avatar system back or make a game where you play as JUST your avatar. When I died I felt like it was mostly my fault although there were times when jumping was awkward so I do blame the game for that. Lastly: Classic Sonic, even though I did like playing his levels there were time when I thought that if only the physics and momentum were polished properly then not many people would hate playing as Classic Sonic. One more thing; the red rings should be collected for Chaos Emeralds like in Lost World and then maybe that would unlock a stage with Infinite as the true final boss, then you fight him as Classic Super Sonic, Modern Super Sonic and perhaps a super version of your avatar. I agree. In fact I would've loved it more if it was more about playing with the other characters, like having episode Shadow directly incorporated into the main game, and then have two or three more episodes with, just to say, Knuckles, Tails, and maybe Amy (her mallet's my weakness ), and have the avatar as a minor character, and then have an additional episode, all about the avatar! And of course, more options of species and styling would make it way more fun (they did a kazillion concepts with numerous animals, afterall), maybe even with the upgrades that the diferent species have, you wouldn't need the Wispons? But that's just an odd idea of mine.
Classic Sonic needs a lot of fixing. Like, it should've been Generations Classic Sonic, plus a few retouches, because it was pretty good already. Connecting Mania with Forces was an interesting idea. But the level design and physics didn't help. And lets not talk about story things.
(In my humble opinion, Classic Sonic should've always be able to talk -he talks in CD, Classic Tails talks, but he doesn't??-, and he should be like, spicier and more rebellious than Modern Sonic, just for the sake of comedy... SEGA hire me, please!!)
I agree with the Red Rings. It was exactly what I was thinking about when they brought up Super Sonic. I think Super Avatar isn't that good of an idea, but I'd give it a chance if they add Super Shadow, Knuckles and Tails... A badass Super Squad!

Precisely, those curves were quite treacherous without the drift in the game. You're right about Classic Sonic he should've been able to speak just like Classic Tails did in Sonic Generations, they could have used Jaleel White or somebody to voice him like what Eddie Labron did for his Sonic Fan Movie, which was mediocre at best. Hell yeah, Super Knuckles and Super Tails in a modern Sonic game would be epic especially with Super Tails' "FLICKY ARMY OF DEATH!" (Got that from SomecallmeJohnny ) Oh well, here's hoping the next Sonic game does better.

Never watched the Sonic Fan Movie. Well, only the first scene, and then I dropped it. Couldn't get into it. :/
FLICKY ARMY OF DEATH BABY!! I can't believe we don't have them in Mania! The only reason why I was looking foward on Super Tails. But it's okay. A lot of things were made for the game that couldn't be added due to deadlines, and for the hard work they still put into it, I respect that.
We had a lot of Sonic games last year, counting the mobile games and even the hacks! It really was the year of Sonic, and not only because my love for him woke up stronger than before. I really look foward for what's next, no matter what!

Yep, Happy New Year to you too, Lina My love for Sonic will never die and I did play a Sonic hack, Sonic Megamix, that hack is awesome. Now changing the subject, remember when you entered my character contest for The Warrior Deer? Well I have a comic guy helping out who has a degree in making comics, haven't heard from him in a while but I'm sure he's still working on it. However I have a sequel planned but I need story ideas and there will be no contest this time. I will say though that the sequel will have a slightly darker tone to it, a robot takeover will be involved and Lylaco will have a new power. If you can think of something lay it on me.
