I am not much of a fan of fractal art........until this............I think you looked at it in a new and fresh way and hit the nail on the head with this...........I enjoy the end result much more than the three works that inspired you............( correction.........I am also inspired by fractal art, and have much respect and love for fractal geometry.......the math that makes it that is also found in the natural world at the molecular level)
