Description Our little fishbone... gettin' all sexy

Heehee, I wanted to draw Hiccup just a tad bit older and it also gave me an excuse to work on male anatomy skills
I'm happy because I got his thin body-type correct, but still made Hiccup -worthy.

I like this. I actually never thought he was a fishbone but very wiry and strong in the way that acrobats or track runners are. But he's surrounded by such epically tall and heavily built people that he appears scrawny. I remember mentioning this in my fan fic- Toothless comparing Hiccup to a wildcat - they may be small and slender, but their bodies are solid, whipcord muscle- and wildcats have been known to take on larger lynx and win.

Nice to see him depicted how he should be.

I agree. Hiccup is only a fishbone in comparison to well, everyone in his tribe, lol. But he certainly makes up for it in other skills. I didnt want to depict him in any other way than what he truly is. Great comparison to the wildcats. It makes complete sense. Lookit how Hiccup and Toothless (the smaller and supposedly weaker beings) took down enornmous Green Death! Perfect example

Thanks so much for the compliment. I'm glad you like it ^^

I do. The movie was great in showing someone who is nerdy being brave and daring- most movies seem to show nerd guys as being lucky cowards that things just turn out right for them. Hiccup always was brave- no one noticed it until he and Toothless joined together.

I think thats one of the aspects about Hiccup that I love the most. He never quite fit in and was the "different one", so he had a perfect excuse to be nerdy, but he took charge in what he knew was right, no matter what it may cost him. He was incredibly brave and valiant.
