Personality: When she was 3 years old, she was a friendly, social, kind and good child. Star then accidentally bumps into Emily which caused her notebook to get all dirty, messed up and torn apart. Star also did other things that Emily thinks she did to ruin her life - after 8000 accidents for 3 years (30 starling years), Emily's personality became mischievous, quick to anger, cruel, evil, punk, depressed, tough, tomboyish, cheeky and rude. Emily holds an intense hatred for Star. but Emily does have a softer and good side of her. She cares about Zero and her older brother but not her rival.

She has minions which are called voidmares which she can summon from her star key and all based on mythology or decorations from Halloween. Some of these designs are based on Emily's own design.
