I sat quietly on the train to the next turf war . The rest of my team chatting with each other and the other teams . I kept quiet , going over my strategies . I had to choose between my 3 best weapons , Arospay RG , Krakon Roller , and Kelp Splat Charger . I sighed
"uh ... hi" A blue inkling said . He wore green contacts and a short sleeved shirt with some bracelets .
I looked up and raised up my multi colored headphones .
"hi" he repeated more confidently .
i nodded and put the head phone back on .
"what weapon will you be using" he asked . i shruged .
he nodded slowly .
"goodluck" he said as the train stopped for camp triggerfish . The group of eight got off and we all entered to our sides waiting area . I picked my gear and weapon and went to spawn .
A girl in a hoodie and stripe pink hat waved at me .
"hello" she said "nice to see another splat charger around , recently its like every other snipper just switched over" she said .
i chuckled .
"good luck , i know ill need it" she said
"same to you" i replied . Two boys came over to us , the rest of the team .
"alright ! lets go claim our teritory !" one anounced .
"yeah!" we chanted . We went up to the spawn and waited .

"3" A voice anounced
"2" we stood up
"1" i gazed at the other team and gripped the charger weapon tightly . ready to aim and fire
"GO"
I quickly charged my weapon and et the trigger go . I rushed to there side , covering as much ground as i could . From where i stood i could see there base . the one minute mark was far away so the blue team couldnt get to where i was from the gates . I covered up the area under me . i felt a rush of energy and pulled out my special as i saw half of their team spawn . i pointed it at the base to hault them as i made my way .
"Oh , hey girl from the train !" i hear a voice say once i drop down .
i jump in surprise . He waved , bracelets jingling . he aimed his weapon at me . The rest of his team surounding me . My team all super jumped to me
"No !!! fall back go back !!" i yelled .
the kid from the train shot the blue ink at me . i yelped and shot back but quickly went down . i watched him for a moment as his team wiped out our entire team . i respawned and saw how quickly they had gotten to our base . we were stuck on our high platform trading ink shots . One of the guys from our team kept jumping off with his roller trying to take out the team himself .
"Ugh ! i quit !!" he yelled throwing down his weapon .
"what !? come on , this is the fourth time this week this has happened !" the other charger said .
the boy grabbed his stuff and left . A loud seiren sounded as the gates went down .
"now's our chanse !" i said while shooting up the wall with pink ink and jumping down in my trail and going up the wall as a squid . I went around and covered their area , but was splatted by the same boy ....
we lost horribly . We lost all day to the blue team . sunset came and our battles had to stop . I had earned an okay amount of rewards for the day but my anger still left a bad taste in my mouth . We all waited at the train station , saying our good jobs and such .

"good job" the same kid said to me
"thanks ..." i muttered .
"whats your name ?"
"(y/n)" i said
"blue lets hope we battle again soon but on the same team this time hmm ?" he said
i sighed a small smile covered my face
"actualy id rather splat you all day instead !" i said happily
he laughed "i take that as a challenge !"
