I used to read stuff about this little game game called "Shantae" for GBC system. Not That I was really thrilled about it or anything since the Gameboy color era and my childhood passed by with without knowing about it.
But believe me when I say, this game was EXTREMELY overlooked. I recently decided to play it and I had tons of fun with it.
Zelda/metroid adventure style, lots of places to explore, and a lovely dancing Genie. What can't I love about it

Played the game, it kicked fuckin' ass! Even went as far as to building a few Minecraft statues. My brother said that I was obsessed with her, just because I'm building statues of Shantae and the cast does not make me obsessed with her.

Damn right she does. I want Way-Forward to make another Shantae game for the 3DS. I want to see her and Risky Boots in 3D.

Retro Games are always cool, besides this was kinda amazing considering the GBC standars. Pretty smooth animation, decent color and a loveable character. Like playing a Pretty good NES game.
IMO is more impressive when you have fun with a more simple game, Because you know it wasn't the graphics. XD

I've never played the games but I've seen the "Let's Plays". In my opinion, the first game was better than the second.

Shantae is actually created by WayForward Technology, Capcom only licensed the game. The game is also based off Metroid exploration style since is a fan of the Metroid series. Shantae is an amazing gem of the GBC era, without a doubt, the best game of that era. And the best part is that Shantae will be available on the 3DS eShop someday too.

Pues a mi me parecio bastante interesante, tiene castillos, ondas ocultas que encontrar, tipo Zelda pero es un side-scroller. incluso el barra de energia son corazones que podes ampliar. Me sorprendio la calidad del juego para ser de GBC, como yo lo jugue en el wii con emulador me gustó mas.
Hace de cuenta como jugar un buen juego de NES XD

he he he! si, ya lo descargué, estuve jugando un rato, y debo admitirlo, la personaje me pareció un tanto encantadora
La animación para ser del tipo NES de voladas esta buena. BUeno, hace ratos que estaba buscando algo de antaño para jugar, gracias por la opción, ahora a matarme horas para hallarle al juego (igual como lo fue con Metroid Fusion y Zero)
Solo una pregunta: el bailesito que se echa, para que sirve? o.o

Sirve mas adelante, si has descubierto, cada ves que la luz está sobre la primera estrella (con la nota musical) y apretas arriba,abajo, izquierda,derecha, B o A hace un paso de baile diferente. un poco de timing y te sale
Con esos bailes podes realizar ondas bien curiosas, pero te vas a dar cuenta cuando llegues a primer "templo" XD
