Wow. I finally got an account so I could review, as I've drooled over this pic a very long time. Both of them look so wonderful... unlike the movies, which makes me happy. The sheer emotion you've managed to portray here is absolutely mindblowing. Severus looks dissappointed, and pitying, and sad, and regretful... and poor Draco looks so scared. Really, really well done.

Awesome facial expressions - they both look just a little scared, and you nailed Draco's attempts at defiance. The lighting is great, and Snape's hair is perfect. This is indeed going to be a sad scene... I still hope it won't happen, but don't really see any way around it.

oh my gosh...it's beautiful... i love the colors...its seems so bright in a dark way.. i didn't get what it was at first then i saw the Dark Mark (which at first looked like slime), Draco looks..kinda feminine

Dude, the eyeballs are so distracting! lol And the fact that Snape looks like the Wicked Witch of the West, but thats beside the point. Good pic! I would really like to describe the moods me and my friend can decipher from the eyeballs in the jar.

Very, very, very good job on Draco's expression. Looks perfectly apprehensive/defiant/seeking for approval, as befits the character and the illustration's title. Snape is rather a bit too pretty for my taste, but hey, that's fanon for you.

Lovely pic! I love that the mark takes up his entire forearm. It's very prominent and, for lack of a more poingant word, scary. The green glow emanating from it onto their faces is really very eerie too! Beautiful!

o.O This is awesome. I especially love the tone you've used on the skin and I adore the way you've done the bone structure on the hands. I'd faint if I could half as good as that! The expression too are stunning. Snape looks more than a little thoughtful, as though he's trying to decide whether to praise or utterly berate Draco for deciding to receive the Mark. Poor Draco too, he looks like he had been willing to show the Mark at first, and now seeing Snape's reaction (or rather, lack of lol!), he is deeply regretting it and all his hope for approval of his actions has disintergrated. And yes, the Mark does look pretty much like a skin disease - nice interpretation, the thought never crossed my mind before now, but is a pretty neat and unique take on what the Mark should look like Fabulous work!
