What a cute kitten!
You've definitely portrayed the kitten's sweet innocence here! Those captivating sea green eyes, soft fur, and relaxed position all make the photo seem so calm and happy - wonderful work!
There's some great contrast with the eyes as well. I love how the green stands out against the brown & white fur! I also like your choice with the soft purple background, which also contrasts with the kitten. The kitten seems to almost pop out at the viewer!
Another thing I love about this is the composition. The rule of thirds helps draw our attention to the kitten's face, but the tilt and angle also make the photo a bit more interesting. The cut off ear doesn't bother me. Excellent work!
I do think the lighting is pretty good here, but I must admit I wish there was a little more light focus on the kitten's face and eyes, rather than on the paws and stomach. I think this would really make those eyes and whiskers pop! I also feel like the background is a bit too dark, on the verge of being harsh compared to the kitten.
I'm also not a huge fan of the border, though small, because it cuts off the ear, whiskers, and paws even more. Personal preference there though!
I do love the focus and detail though, beautiful work!
