Description
This is the flag of the Protectorate of German Libya (Flagge des Schutzgebietes Deutsch-Libyen). It's inspired by the naval and trade flag of the Austrian Empire since it used to be an Austrian colony before the unification. It was used in the very few colonies the Austrian Empire used to own for very short amounts of time in OTL. The coat of arms is inspired by the one of the previous Italian colony of Libya. It's an alternative history flag for a scenario of a friend of mine that involves another outcome of WW1. For more interesting informations and artworks of this scenario click the links below.
