Biography

Forge is Knife 's father, and originally was a well-renounced hunter that would regularly take down difficult monsters. Sometime during his prime he fell in love with a palico, and ended up having his only son, Knife. However due to the dangerous nature of the hunter life, Forge decided to give up on his family and focus on slaying monsters. Unfortunately he mostly did it for the fame and money, but not so much to protect anyone. As he grew in rank, he eventually was relocated to another guild, and never saw his lover again.

Twenty years later, Forge formed an unexpected allyship with Whisk when he overheard him speaking about other riders. Focusing primarily on Knife, who he discovered was his son, he decided that he would pressure him into becoming a hunter again. He quickly realized that Knife was stubborn and wouldn't be easily convinced. Eventually he decided the best approach was to use monsters of his own against him, which was when he became a rider.

Forge officially showed up once Team Sync reached G Rank, starting with only a few Low Rank monsters and quickly climbing the ranks to control stronger monsters. One of his main monsters is Xenon , who shares a similarly prideful and aggressive personality.
