I wanted to try a different shading technique, it was surprisingly quick compared to my usual style. I don't think I have it 100% down yet but will keep experimenting.------------------------------------------------------------------
Bane still couldn't quite believe it, not even as he spent a ridiculous time and a ludicrous amount of Show Shine polishing his horse, tacked him up and got on. Milo had been so casual about gifting him the horse, as if things like that just happened to people like him. Who really knew why Mr Valentini did anything, but Bane didn't buy the 'oh, well he's just too big for me so it makes sense' or 'it's useful having a rider with show experience at my yard' and so forth. He knew better than to look a gift horse in the mouth, though. He'd come a long way from his days of mucking stalls for any chance to ride to competing on a horse like this, that was for sure. He still wasn't quite sure how it had happened. He might just wake up one day and realize it was all just a dream, but until then he intended to enjoy it.
