A little of his story: Wakali was the 1st born to King Mohatu and Queen Askari. His brother was Ahadi future lion guard leader! About 3 months after Ahadi was born Mohatu's Ex-Best friend's wife had Uru, Mohatu went to Choyo and his wife and asked to betroth Uru to Wakali, Ubina (Choyo's Wife) was not keen to it because Wakali would be 2 years older than Uru, but Choyo agreed cause he wanted to get into the Pridelands again. When Wakali heard this he argued, He didnt want a girl younger than him, He wanted Bahari (Wakali's crush, who is a male cheetah) He said he was not in love with lionesses he wanted Bahari, His Bahari! Mohatu told him that he was destined to with Uru, Wakali went to Bahari and told him, Bahari suggested they run away, So that night when everyone was asleep Wakali and Bahari ran away, leaving no trace to follow. So when they awoke they were gone, They looked for them for weeks and never found them. So Mohatu went to Choyo and Ubina and told them Wakali was gone, So Mohatu said that Ahadi would be the future king, and that they would betroth Uru to Ahadi, and Ubina agreed to that cause the cubs were only 3 months apart. Meanwhile Wakali and Bahari were finally happy together. So they created their own pride, They gathered about 6 females. When mating season came Wakali was nervous. He never mated before but he had to so he could have an heir. So he picked the strongest lioness to have his heir. But he refused to mate with the other females. The females asked Bahari (He is a cheetah remember) and Bahari asked Wakali and Wakali said that if the lionesses wanted to mate they can mate with Bahari or a rouge. 2 lionesses went off to find rouge while the remaining girls mating with Bahari. They had a happy life, Later cubs started to be born. Wakali's heir was born 1 female and 1 male. They named the male cub Inkosi and the female cub Baraka! The 2 females who went off to find rouge also had their cubs, All females, Somehow Bahari had gotten one of the lionesses he mated with pregnant and she gave birth to 2 female cheetah lion hybrids. Everyone was shocked but excited. Bahari and Wakali adopted the cheetah/lion hybrid cubs and the cubs of Wakali with the one lioness.
