Occupation-None. She'll often help out Berry on the farm, but she doesn't see it as her actual profession. She doesn't know what's in store for her...

Personality-Rainy is a very self conscious little pony. She knows she looks different from the rest, what with her spots and freckles and markings and all. She's a bit shy and tends to keep to herself, living in a small cottage in the woods. She also wishes she was, say.. More important. Or.. Not an earth pony. She envies the magical abilities of the unicorns and the flying of the pegasi. She wishes she could be special, like them...
Past-Well..? She doesn't really know it. As long as she's remembered, she'd been an orphan. Her parents aren't even a distant memory in her mind.. Though she assumes it's her odd looks that caused them too "abandon her", she doesn't quite know. Nobody ever told her what really happened the night she arrived. Another thing she doesn't understand would be her cutie mark. She doesn't know what it means, and just wishes she knew what to do in life. What her talent really was. But she isn't sure if she'll ever decipher it. Her former name was Nighttime Rain, But upon gaining her crown cutie mark it was changed to Shimmering Rain, as to represent the shine of the crown. However she still prefers most just call her Rainy, as she's been nicknamed since the beginning. Later in life, when she could finally leave the local orphanage and live on her own, she left off to the woods and found an old abandoned cottage. She quickly fixed the place up as best she could and made it her home.. One day when she was wandering outside, she went a bit farther from his normal home, and bumped into a little farmspony by the name of Berry Breeze. While she was absolutely mortified at first, they soon hit it off quite well, and quickly became close. Eventually becoming.. A bit closer than friends. While they both live in their own homes, they still spend most of their days together and help each other out. Maybe this new "friend" of hers can help her find her purpose..?
