Description
A piece inspired by and referenced from Brom's "Gazelle".Have a little free time for the holidays and decided to finish and show the completed version of my WIP. I'm sure I'll eventually create a race and name for this creature and add her to my Sorche storyline, but for now she is simply a creature who has just broken free from her captors and takes in the first light of day.
I actually still want to add tons more to this, but for the moment I'm tired of working on it.

Hm...Someone sent me to this link cos they thought it looked like my own creatures. And in a way it looks similiar, but then again not... Is she somewhat of a satyr, I mean her legs kinda look that that until her feet? I just hope this doesn't collide.

No, she's not a satyr. She's simply a creature. To be fair though, as I said this piece is inspired and referenced from a piece that Brom painted called "Gazelle". Thanks for viewing.

Oh no no. Not at all. I didn't take it as you saying that by any means. I just had to clarify that Brom was the only inspiration for this. I learned a long time ago (the hard way) to always give proper credit when and where it's due. Regardless of the reason you visited, I thank you for viewing the piece. I just visited your page, btw, and I'm really impressed with the designs for your Water Wings characters. If I ever get enough free time I may have to create a character for that race.

Let me tell you, people get different messeges from stuff like this...heres what i got: First I saw a cheet/dinasour creature running from pursuing natives, then as it stepped into that light it slowly transformed into the female. So what i see is a transformation in process...

I don't think there is much I could add about this picture, I agree with everyone it's really nice. I guess I'm weird but the tail and thighs are what I like most about it. My wife and I both have sites on here and she found this one and knew I would be interested. I came up with a creature very similar to this lovely lady back around '91 and even wrote a novel over them.

Your technique and compostion are wonderful. Only negative comment is I think there are some porportionality issues, and just tiny details that would make it all look a little more "real", as far as looking like a real creature so to speak. The image is beautiful though, wonderful work. I love it.

I'll admit when I saw this piece I wondered if somehow someone snuck into my room at night and stole all my composite sketches because this character look almost identical to a character I'm creating, except without the ram horns. You weren't in my room, were you?

Well, she can't fly and yes she is up very high. But if I tell you what happens then it stifles your imagination, right? Just know that she will be fine... even IF she does jump.
