Oh man i haven't posted anything on dev art in a long time lol but i'm submitting a drawing i did which is of a character from a manga called Death Note. omg yea i read manga now but one of my absolute favs is death note. funny how i draw fan art once the series is over

DEATH NOTE IS AWESOME!!!!! seriously even if you're a manga/anime hater you all should really give this a chance because it is not the typical manga. This is coming from someone who absolutely hated manga and anime before.

The character i drew is Mello who was(*sniff*) one of my fav characters of the series. I drew him in my own style but the original is much better than mine lol(of course) i want to draw near and L too but i'll get to that later(or not lol)

but umm yea i'm not sure if i'm completely satisfied with it. i actually drew mello looking like a guy! he usually looks like a chick lol(its the hair) god my painting skills(so do my drawing skills) suck but i'm a newb so leave me alone.

some of you might be wondering where's the scar? well i diddn't draw the scar because it's a pre-scar mello(plus drawing scars is hard...) oh and the brushes and all that i actually got on dev art but i can't remember from who so sorry if i don't reference you guys
